Interview transcription:
In an interview, Alex Shortt explains why you should choose him for your PRESBYOND surgery.
Interviewer: If I was a patient who was looking to get rid of these glasses. What are the reasons why I should choose you to do my surgery?
Alex Shortt: I feel a bit self-conscious answering that question. What I say to patients who are considering laser-blended vision is not to get confused and not to get sold mono-vision, because it’s not the same thing.
Interviewer: Okay.
Alex Shortt: You specifically want PRESBYOND laser-blended vision. So, you need to find a clinic or a surgeon who offers it and have to make sure that they have the expertise and a track record using this. The assessment of the patient is quite specific. There’s a couple of tests and scans that we use to programme the laser treatment, which not every laser eye surgery clinic has.
Interviewer: Right.
Alex Shortt: And lastly, just the patient experience, the surgeon’s experience with the treatment, and the clinic that has the technology. Specifically, the PRESBYOND laser-blended vision lasik technology.
Interviewer: Very good, thank you.
