Who is suitable for SMILE?

Interview transcription:

In an interview, Alex Shortt explains who is suitable for SMILE laser eye surgery.

Alex Shortt: ReLEx SMILE can treat all the short-sightedness, from minus half of a unit, right up to minus 12. But as well as correcting that range of short-sightedness, most patients also have some element of astigmatism. We can combine up to four units of correction for astigmatism at the same time as correcting up to 12 units of short-sightedness.
