I trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and I did 500 cataract operations at Moorfields before I then became a consultant. Then I performed another 500 surgerys, and after doing over a thousand cataract operations, I then did some further training to become what’s known as a refractive surgeon.There is some really specific training involved to become a refractive surgeon.
